She fears a cage. She fears a marriage where she's kept under lock and key; where she is lost in her husband's shadow. She fears marriage to a man who will not listen, who will not care. She fears she will go unnoticed and forgotten, tied to her duties and never again free to have a thought or an action completely her own. She fears becoming an extension of the man she's promised her life to, and she fears choosing ill. She fears a life without love and he's promised her otherwise. And with that promise, she'll wed the Steward.
